Let Armenian Street teaches you speak Hokkien

Today, when I was wondering around Georgetown, I found an interesting thing. At Armenian Street, there are some talk bubbles with the Hokkien language inside it. If you are not familiar with Hokkien, you can try to learn these simple Hokkien words which are commonly used.

How much?

好吃

Delicious

Hungry

Where?

口渴

Thirsty

Have you eat?

I am not sure about this (I am not a Penangite) but it is written there it means dreaming.

Another two is written at the iron art there. The upper one means 'Where are you going?' and the lower one means 'Don't know'.

The Hokkien language are written on the drain beside this purple building. Once you reach Armenian Street, you can easily spot this purple building.

These are the Hokkien language written on the drain.
