槟城白咖喱面

Penang White Curry Noodle

今天要为大家介绍的是这个鼎鼎有名的《My Kuali槟城白咖喱面》。据说,这个采用天然原料辣椒酱的白咖喱面被列入了世界十大最好吃的快熟面,而且味道也是最接近平时在咖啡店里享用的咖喱面哦~

Here is the famous 'My Kuali Penang White Curry Noodle' for you. It is said that this white curry noodle with the natural ingredients chili paste is listed in the world top ten most delicious instant noodle and it's taste is the most similar with the original Penang curry mee.


一个大包装里有四小包槟城白咖喱面,价格起伏不定。我是托我的朋友买的,一个大包装RM6.50。在本头公巷那里的中西药行(Lorong Soo Hong和Lebuh Armenian的交叉路口,有租脚踏车的)有售卖这槟城白咖喱面,一个大包装要RM8.50。

One big pack of Penang white curry noodle consists of four small packs. The price of this instant noodle vary from the seller. I bought this big pack from my friend which costs me RM6.50. You can bought this Penang white curry noodle at the Armenian Street drugstore (located at the crossroad of Soo Hong Lane and Armenian Street, they provided bicycle rental service as well), but one big pack will costs you RM8.50.


打开包装后,心想这槟城白咖喱面的价格是普通快熟面的一倍多,所以面的分量应该会比较多一些。岂料,快熟面的尺寸还是和普通的快熟面一样,所以我必须吃下两包才能饱了。

Well, the price of this Penang white curry noodle is double the price of the normal instant noodle, so I thought that the portion of the noodle might be larger. Disappointingly, the size of the noodle is the same as the size of the normal instant noodle, so I have to eat two packs to get myself full.


一包面有三包调味包装 - 调味粉,无脂奶粉和辣椒酱。

One pack of instant noodle has three small packs of seasoning packs - a seasoning powder, a non-dairy creamer and a chili paste.



倒入热水后,等个三分钟。然后加入调味粉和无脂奶粉。过后,你会发现它的汤变成了白色,我想这应该是槟城“白”咖喱面的由来吧~

Pour in the boil water and wait for 3 minutes. After that, add in the seasoning powder and the non-dairy creamer. You will notice that the soup has change to white coulor. I think that this is why they called it the Penang 'White' Curry Noodle.


加入辣椒酱后一碗香喷喷的槟城白咖喱面就完成了。有一点要注意的是加入辣椒酱后需要花点时间搅拌,因为辣椒酱不容易融入汤里。

Adding the chili paste and the hot and spicy Penang white curry noodle is done! Note that you will have to take time to mix the chili paste with the soup completely as the chili paste does not dissolve easily.


至于味道如何,我就无法形容了。就觉得味道有点特别就是了。不过,要和我平时吃的槟城咖喱面相比,还是会有一段距离的。

As for how is the taste? Well, I cant bring it into words, just feel that it tastes a bit special..haha.. However, comparing with the Penang curry mee that I used to eat, there is still a big gap in between.

    1. 是咯,大众对这白咖喱面的demand很高,所以很快就卖完了。很多商家也因此把价格标得很高咯~

    有个小道消息,槟城好像农历新年前,会有另一个牌子的白色咖喱面,听说更好吃(这是从我妈妈那边听来的)。。

    我姐夫今天买一包RM9。虽然我很想试吃但是一包RM9,我宁愿不吃。哈哈!!~

  5. 最新消息,全马各大Giant皆有出售了,价钱RM6.99,不过我个人觉得4包RM6.99还是太贵了。
