Halloween Party 2014 at Hard Rock Cafe Penang

近年来，万圣节在大马似乎慢慢流行起来，很多餐馆与酒店也开始举办万圣节派对。今年的万圣节，我与几位博客一同出席由Hard Rock Cafe所举办的万圣节派对。说起来，这可是我第一次参与万圣节派对呢！

Recent years, Halloween Day seems to be getting more attention from Malaysians. Many restaurants and hotels started to throw parties to celebrate this spooky day. This year, me and and other bloggers have attended the Halloween party organised by Hard Rock Cafe. Again, this is my another first time! I have never attending a Halloween party before.

万圣节肯定是少不了南瓜了。当晚在Hard Rock Cafe里看见了很多很多的搞怪南瓜。

A Halloween wouldn't be complete without the pumpkin. There were lots of spooky pumpkins in Hard Rock Cafe during that night.

如果把那个丧尸头套在那个无头塑料模特的话，效果肯定。。。。。。哈哈~

If the zombie head was put on the headless plastic model, the effect must be...... haha~

当晚的服务生都画上了鬼脸，一些甚至还全副身装，出尽法宝。个人觉得这位扮Chucky的服务生是最为可怕的了，很多用餐者都纷纷前去与他拍照。

All the waiters and waitress were putting up the scary makeup on their face for the Halloween night and some even wore the complete costume. Personally think that this 'Chucky' was the most scary one and he does a good job in drawing everyone attention.

Groupie Grind

我们各自点了一杯饮料。这是我点的Groupie Grind，甜度刚好，个人很喜欢。

This is the drink I ordered, Groupie Grind. It is a housemade pina colada mix and pineapple juice blended with a strawberry swirl. Simply put, this drink Rocks!

Jumbo Combo

当晚，Hard Rock Cafe为我们准备了两道食物。这是其中一道，Jumbo Combo。Jumbo Combo包含了春卷、熏鸡翼、洋葱圈、马铃薯皮、以及鸡肉，共有四种酱料可以随意搭配。份量则是刚好我们五位博客食用。

Jumbo Combo - A delectable array of Hard Rock Cafe most popular starters that’s big enough to share. Includes Santa Fe Spring Rolls, Hickory-Smoked Chicken Wings, Onion Rings, Potato Skins and Tupelo Chicken Tenders. Served with four different sauces for mixing and matching.

Famous Fajitas

Hard Rock Cafe为我们准备的第二道食物，Famous Fajitas。Famous Fajitas可说是亲手制作的墨西哥卷饼，顾客们自行将馅料放在饼皮上然后卷起来食用。顾客们共有三种肉类可以选择，分别是烤鸡、烤牛和烤虾。

Famous Fajitas - Your choice of grilled chicken or beef served with pico de gallo, shredded Jack and Cheddar cheeses, fresh guacamole, sour cream, shredded lettuce and hot flour tortillas.

 

当天晚上的重头戏是“最佳万圣节装扮”竞赛。因此，有不少顾客都穿着精灵古怪的服装出现。有一位顾客扮谷歌地图，这个真的有够特别的！Hard Rock Cafe也有准备化妆师为顾客们画上鬼脸，但是化妆师只有一位，所以需要等上一段时间。

The highlight of the night is the 'Most Zombie-fied Looking Competition'. For this, some customers came in with all sort of costumes. There was a customer pretending the Google Map, so special! Haha.. There was a makeup artist helping the customers to makeup their face into a zombie look. However, due to the limited makeup artist available, customers have to wait for quite some time.

虽说是万圣节派对，但整体气氛并没有很恐怖，反而感觉有点小闷。对于第一次参与万圣节派对的我而言，其实感到有那么一点小小失望。

Though it was a Halloween party, but the ambiance was not actually that spooky. In fact, I felt a little bit boring and somehow a little bit disappointed.

我们当天回得有点早，在竞赛成绩揭晓前就离开了。离开前，我们坚持要和几位“鬼怪”拍张大合照。谁的表情最可怕呢？哈哈~

We left the party before the announcement of the winner for the 'Most Zombie-fied Looking Competition'. Before we left, we insisted on taking a photo with the spooky staffs. Who do you think has the scariest look?
