Penang 3D Trick Art Museum at Penang Street |
Following Made In Penang Interactive Museum, Georgetown is now having it's second 3D museum, namely Penang 3D Trick Art Museum. On the 23rd of October (two days before the museum officially open for business), Penang 3D Trick Art Museum has hold a press conference and I was invited to this soft launching conference.
Similar to many building in Georgetown, this 3D museum is a long shape building with two floors. The ground floor has the theme of "All About Penang Life", be it classic or modern. Meanwhile, the first floor is more to adventurous activities.
The first thing we saw when we entered the 3D museum is this trishaw. Come, lets us go visit the olden Penang along with this trishaw!
The murals of the 3D museum were all hand drawn by the artists from local and all over the world, while the sculptures that interact with the murals were carved by the sculptors. With the effort from all these artists and sculptors, 3D museum now has about 45 masterpieces.
Among all the 3D murals, this should suit Heh Pyng the most as she was growing up in a fisherman village. Riding a boat is definitely a no problem for her! XD
In the future plan, 3D museum will add in the sound effect and the wind effect to make the experience more real.
Me or the buffalo? Choose one. XD
This is supposed to be a great Penang Hill mural, but we...... By the way, we do really met with Miss Sadako at the upper floor!
I quite like this masterpiece as I love the sky drawing of the background.
This one is really interesting! Any idea how they become big and small?
This is actually a deep pit, whereby we are supposed to fall into it. However, instead of falling, we made it an escape from the death..haha..
This is the upper floor, where you can see many exaggerated masterpieces here.
Well, I guess I was the only one that is sensitive to the camera..haha..
The dinosaur is alive! Run for your life!!!
I didn't expect to meet ET at the 3D museum, what a surprise!
Feng Yi and Fu Wa?
I guess I am just too delicious.
Fight against the giant centipede!
Surfing girl~
Ballet in the sky?
And then, we went to swim for real in the evening.
The focus is not the head got separated from the body, but the body has changed to a male body!
