If you are watching 8TV programs, you must have heard of this 'A New Journey' program. This program is mainly about the trackback of the Chinese as how they came to Malaysia from China. In the third season of 'A New Journey', the organiser has specially organise a photography trip for the photography lover to take part in the program.
10 months ago, I have participated in this photography trip. This photo album is the result from the trip and it was published 6 months later after the trip ended. Soon after the photo album was published, 8TV has called me and asked for my current address and they will send me this photo album to my house via express delivery. Unfortunately, when the delivery came to my house, I was still sleeping so I have missed it. A note was stick on my house door saying that they will make another delivery again. So, I waited and waited. For months, there wasn't any delivery made to my house. Few days ago, I received the call from 8TV again. They told me that my photo album has been sent back to their headquarter. I told them what happened and they said that they will send me the photo album once again. Two days after the call, the photo album reached my house. However, again, this time too I hasn't woke up yet! Same, a note saying that they will resend the photo album to my house was stick on the door but this time I was not believing in them anymore. Just yesterday, during my roommate off day, I have asked him fetched me to the express company to take the photo album myself. Finally, after four months of waiting, I get my photo album!
In the first page, it is written the encouragement words from Desmond with his signature.
Desmond is the host for 'A New Journey'. He is a producer, a write and a presenter himself.
This trip has gathered a total of 28 photography lovers and many of them are of professional level. Sine there were many photographers better than me in this trip, I have been thinking that even if just one of my photos was being used in the album, then it will be thankful enough for me. After glancing through all the photos in the album, I have found three photos of mine. I was really happy knowing this fact..haha..
This is the photo I took during our visit to Khoo Kongsi. Khoo Kongsi is located southwest of Georgetown. The fine carving and it's unique building styles has made Khoo Kongsi being listed in the world heritage.
This is the original photo of Khoo Kongsi.
Next one is this Tian Hua Arts and Antique shop owner, Mr. Ng. Mr. Ng has been doing arts for 40 years and he has been running his business in this shop for 12 years long.
This is the original photo of Mr. Ng.
This is the Pinang Peranankan Mansion. This baba nyonya style mansion is the former residence a Kapitan Chung Keng Kwee. The mansion is full of the traditional furniture.
This is the original photo of Pinang Peranakan Mansion.
Another thing that make me feel excited is that my name appears in this limited edition photo album..haha..
We were separated into 4 groups and I was the member of Group B.
The last station of our trip is at Penang Town Hall. We took a group photo at there. With this, the trip ends. Hope that everyone is doing well in your life and stay healthy always. All the BEST!!!
