俄罗斯经典Pallada号三桅帆船

从来没到过Swettenham码头的我，这个月里竟然去了两次！前两个星期是去看泰国皇家海军战舰的，而今天呢则是来参观来自俄罗斯的Pallada帆船。

This month, I have went to Swettenham Pier twice. Couple of weeks ago, I went there to see the Thai Navy Battleship, and today I was there for this clipper ship from Russia.

光华日报：

Pallada号建于1989年，25年来数千名来自俄罗斯、荷兰、越南、墨西哥、阿拉伯国家的学员都曾在这艘船实习过。这艘船每年航行5至6次，曾到过日本、中国、韩国、越南、新加坡、澳大利亚、美国等。

Kwong Wah Daily News:

Pallada was built in 1989. For the past 25 years, there were thousands of students from Russia, Netherlands, Vietnam, Mexico and Arab were having their training on this ship. This ship sails five to six times a year and it have been sailing to Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, America and many more.

刚上船就在船板上看见了这个欢迎的标志。

There is a welcome logo on the floor at the entrance at the side of the ship.

Pallada的左右两旁都很广阔。

It is wide at both side of Pallada.

这里是Pallada的后方。

This is the back of Pallada.

这里是导航室，也就是所谓的船长室啦~

This is the navigation room, which is the captain room as well.

这个大大的船舵是在船长室前面的，我去推了一下，感觉意外的轻，根本就不吃力。

This big helm is located at the front of the captain room. I go push it a little and surprisingly, the helm rotates easily.

每次在电视上看到的船舵都是一个的，不明白为什么Pallada会有两个。

This is the first time I have seen two helms together on one ship, I wonder why?

这是Pallada的船头。

This is the front of Pallada.

在船头和船舵那里都有个钟，猜想这两个钟应该是用来召集船员的。

There is a bell at the front of the ship and the front of the helm. I was thinking that these two bells are used to gather the crews on the ship.

这是Pallada的帆，看到那么多条绳子我的头都有点晕了。

This is the sail of Pallada. The ropes were really complex!

在帆的底部卷着很多绳子，我真的很佩服那些船员能认得出哪条打哪条咯。

At the bottom of the sail there were many rolling ropes. I was really amaze by the fact that the crew can actually recognise which rope at the bottom was for which rope on the sail.

其实呢，我一上到Pallada时的第一感觉就是乱！感觉整个船都很复杂，不知要从何看起，而且照片也很难捉角度。船上都是观光者自由活动，没有看到几个船员，所以不明白的话也没得问问题了。

Actually, the first thing I felt when I was on the ship was messy. The whole ship give me a really complicated feeling. I don't know what to see and it is actually quite hard to find a good angle for photo shooting. I did not saw any of the crew on the ship so when I got questions, I couldn't asked anyone.

If you have missed today opening session, there will be another opening session on 2nd March (Sunday) from 10am until noon. Do grab this last chance to visit Pallada!
