Last month, Shervone Cakes has it's second outlet opened at Pulau Tikus. The concept is slightly different from the Kyrstal Point's Shervone Cakes whereby Mr. Yo (owner) has turn it into a cafe with main dishes and drinks served. By the way, any of you curious on how does the name 'Shervone' came from? Well, it is actually the combination of the name of Mr. Yo (Boon) and Mrs. Yo (Sharon).
Girls cant resist dessert and so do I. Shervone Cakes served some really nice desserts and I am glad that I get the chance to try them out. It all thanks to these three persons, Jennifer, Mr. Yo and my friend. Thank you Jennifer for inviting me to this review. Thank you Mr. Yo for your generous treat. And thank you my friend for driving me all the way from Malihom Retreat to Pulau Tikus. Really felt sorry for your old car for having her going up the steep hill road. >.<
Once I stepped into the cafe, I saw this 'My Birthday Wish' mural near the door. Alright, let me tell you what are my birthday wishes. First wish, I want to have better photography equipments. Second wish, I want to have a better laptop. Third wish, let me just keep it to myself..hehe.
The interior design of Shervone Cakes 2.0 is just like a birthday party. Balloons and birthday related tools can be seen all over the cafe. I felt happy and joyful while I was inside the cafe.
The dining area keen to be more vintage. The wall is hung with two long mirrors and many vintage dessert photos.
Hey, it is this trolley chair again! Last time I met it at Paper Pepper Postcard & Cafe and so soon I met it again at here! Most probably I will meet it again at some other cafe in the future. XD
In Shervone Cakes 2.0, customers get the hands-on experience in making their own favourite coffee. There are coffee making machine placed on some of the tables. If you are not sure how to use it, do not hesitate to ask for a demonstration.
Saw these cute Doraemon cups on the counter. Really feel like bring them home! XD
Lemonade【RM7.90】
Each of us ordered our own drink and I have ordered a lemonade. It tastes a little bit bitter and the lemon taste is a bit strong. Some might not get use to the taste but for me I just love it.
Heng Penang Laksa【RM6.90】
The Heng Penang Laksa at Servone Cakes 2.0 is passed down by Mr. Yo's parents. 50 years ago, Mr. Yo's parent was the laksa peddler in Farlim, but the business was closed afterwards. Today, Mr. Yo has decided to once again sell the laksa in this new outlet. The laksa is rich with fish meat and it is very flavourful as well as spicy. Definitely, Shervone Cakes 2.0 is the place for you to try out the original laksa of the old days.
Heng Penang Laksa (Angel Hair)【RM6.90】
Mr. Yo has done some modification to the laksa as to make it even more flavourful and better texture. Now, customer can choose from between the traditional laksa noodle or the modified laksa with angel hair. One thing to keep in mind is that the laksa is only available on weekend only.
Spaghetti Bolognese Chicken【RM15.80】
A tomato based sauce spaghetti cooked with minced chicken meat. The taste is okay but the noodles were a bit dry.
Spaghetti Aglio e Olio【RM13.80】
A garlic oil sauteed pasta with the garlic slices and chili flakes. The pasta was al dente and I love the fragrance of the garlic very much!
Briyani Spice Rice with ¼ Chicken【RM19.80】
A quarter of juicy and meaty chicken topped with the almond flakes, together with the fragrant briyani spice rice and fresh vegetables served with a small bowl of chili paste. It is definitely a great chicken rice combo!
Briyani Fried Rice【RM8.90】
Personally think that this briyani fried rice is a bit dry and the taste is normal only.
Ciabata Cheesy Chicken【RM13.80】
Well, the name says it all. It is suitable for those who is going for healthy diet.
Panini Wasabi Salmon【RM15.80】
A panini sandwiched with smoked salmon, cheese, greens and a little bit of wasabi mayo. Yet, another healthy food to choose from.
The 'Long' Meal【RM17.80】
As the name suggests, everything on the plate was long! From the left is the long chicken wrap, followed by long sausage and the long egg.
Crème Brulee【RM11.90】
Ever since I tried the Crème Brulee at J.A.M Cafe for the very first time, I have fall in love with it! Crème Brulee is actually the France dessert, which tastes more or less like Ipoh egg custard (so far I have only tried the egg custard in Ipoh). The dessert is smooth and creamy and it is super delicious!
Black Diamond【RM8.80】
The combination of the charcoal cream and the green tea cake is just perfect! The cake is soft and fluffy which made me want to go for another spoonful bite, one after another!
Chocolicious【RM8.80】
The chocolicious is super delicious! The cake is super rich with chocolate and it is sweet! Just love it so much!
Double Chocolate【RM8.80】
The combination of dark and white chocolate cake. Two words - simply irresistible!
Classic Cheese Cake【RM8.80】
Cheese cake is one of my favourite as well! Next time if I happen to get a girlfriend, I will make sure that she knows how to bake! Haha~
Shervone Cakes' Handmade Chocolate【RM3.20 / piece】
Until today, Shervone Cakes is still trying their best to come out with more variety of desserts. Recently, they have came out with handmade chocolate. Now, there are more than 10 types of handmade chocolates available and each and everyone of them has their own uniqueness!

Last but not least, Shervone Cakes do sell 3D cake that is trending now. All these 3D cakes were designed by Mr. Yo. However, customer can request Mr. Yo to design the 3D cake according to their preference.
