Okomen at Queensbay Mall |
When
talking about okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake), most local people will
treat it as a side dish. However, this does not apply in Japan.
Okonomiyaki is actually a main dish for Japanese.
Okomen is the first Japanese restaurant that serve okonomiyaki as a main dish in Malaysia. The name 'Okomen' is the combination of 'Okonomiyaki' and 'Ramen'. The prices of Okomen's food is a bit higher compare to the food in regular Japanese restaurant, but it is still reasonable. Okomen pays very high attention to the quality of foods and they make sure it is good for customers health. Besides, they also try to make the foods taste as original as possible. As for the chefs, they have undergo some strict and professional training.

The
first thing that attracted my attention is this Japan's night view
wallpaper. There are two Japan night view wallpapers in the restaurant
and this one is the Osaka night view.
While waiting for the food, it is not a bad idea to enjoy yourself with the beautiful night view of Japan.
If you wish to have some private space, you can have your meal at the inner part of the restaurant.
Green Tea - RM1.80
Okonomiyaki and ramen are considered the heavy foods, so most people will prefer to order green tea as their drink.

Honestly,
this pork oko does not just taste nice but it's appearance has also
earned my compliment. The pancake is pretty soft and you don't have to
chew much before swallow it.

Another
nice looking okonomiyaki. This okonomiyaki is mainly made of mochi and

bowl. Customer is then add in the shavings of smoked bonito onto the

The
fact is, omu soba is actually one of the family members of okonomiyaki.
Without omu soba, the okonomiyaki family cant be said complete. Though
the pattaya fried rice (fried rice wrap with egg) has always been my
favourite, yet this is the first time I have tried fried noodles wrap
with egg. The taste of this pork omu soba didn't let me down even a bit
and what's more is it is even nicer that many pattaya fried rice.

The

Therefore, it is a healthy food indeed.
